AEOchamp

The practical AI Search Optimization guide

Improve the page you already have.

Use a specific AEOchamp finding to choose one URL. Clarify the answer, add evidence, and explain the limits before creating another piece of content.

Pick one URL

Match the finding to the buyer’s destination.

Start with a completed AEOchamp analysis and write down the exact misunderstanding or weak recommendation. Then choose the URL a buyer should use to resolve it. A wrong software category usually points to your homepage or product page. A question about guest reviewers points to your review workflow, permissions, or help page.

Check the current page’s search queries and purpose before rewriting it. Keep useful explanations and links. If the URL already answers the right topic, improve that URL rather than publishing near-duplicate pages for every prompt variation. Distinct buyer tasks can justify separate resources.

Before and after

Replace a vague promise with a complete answer.

Illustrative rewrite — verify every detail against your own product
BeforeAfter, if accurateWhy it helps the buyer
“Collaborate faster with seamless approvals.”“Approval software for agencies collecting client feedback on design drafts.”Names the product, audience, and job.
“Invite anyone to collaborate.”“Send a review link. The client opens the draft, adds comments, and confirms approval. Explain here whether an account is required.”Makes the workflow visible and flags an important condition.
“Never lose track of decisions.”“Show a real approval record and explain which reviewer, version, and confirmation details your product actually stores.”Replaces a broad promise with inspectable evidence.
“Perfect for every team.”“List the workflows you support and any limits on review access, file types, or permissions.”Helps buyers decide whether the product fits.

These are writing patterns, not features you should invent. Have the product owner verify the workflow and permissions before publication. If the product cannot do something, say so and explain the available alternative.

Support the explanation

Add proof next to the claim.

Place a small real screenshot beside the review steps, with descriptive alternative text and a caption explaining what it shows. Link to the relevant help article. For a performance claim, provide the measurement conditions and source. For a case study, explain the customer’s situation and outcome rather than presenting an unsupported number.

Give the page a clear title, descriptive headings, and links from relevant product or learning pages. Keep the main explanation in readable text rather than embedding it only in a decorative image. Review the mobile version so steps and limitations remain easy to read.

Google’s people-first content guidance is a useful standard for deciding whether the edit adds real value. The goal is to remove a buyer’s uncertainty, not to satisfy an arbitrary answer length.

Review with AEOchamp

Check the explanation, then review the result.

Domain Clarity lets you compare the model’s category, audience, and job with your intended positioning. Read the answer as well as confidence: a confident but inaccurate explanation is still a problem. Champion live Domain Clarity checks inspect the current website and are useful after the edit.

Return to the relevant User Intent question and inspect the recommendations at model level. Keep the model and analysis mode consistent when comparing observations. A live website check and a training-knowledge recommendation answer are different tests; improvement in one is not automatic proof of improvement in the other.

Record the URL, edit date, and baseline evidence. Use answer-focused writing for a fuller page brief and measuring changes to decide what to monitor next.

Your questions, answered

Should I create a new page or improve an existing one?

Improve the existing page when it already serves the buyer question. Create a new page when the question has a distinct purpose that would make the current page confusing or overloaded.

Will changing a page change older models immediately?

No. Editing your website does not immediately change a model’s training knowledge. A live Domain Clarity check can assess the current site, while training-knowledge results need separate interpretation.

What is the most useful first edit?

Replace an unclear claim with a direct, accurate explanation of who the product serves, how the workflow works, and the conditions or limits that matter to the buyer.
